What is permanent make-Up?
Permanent Make-Up also known as cosmetic tattoo. A machine deposits the pigment into the dermal layer of skin. The result is Permanent-Up, a desired effect that lasts for years.
What are some reasons why people get Permanent Make-Up?
There are a variety of reasons to choose Permanent Make-Up. Busy professionals love the time that they save everyday. Athletes and active people enjoy make-up that doesn’t smudge when they swim or workout. For many women with sparse eyebrows, sensitive eyes or poor definition af any area make-up is so helpful.
How long does the procedure take?
Procedure lengths for eyebrows are usuallly 90 minutes. Full lip color can take up to 2 hours.
What is the recovery time?
There is little to no downtime. You can actually return right back to work the same day. There is some swelling for eyeliner and lip procedures. The cosmetic tattoo will also appear darker and bolder until the process is complete. It takes about 5 to 7 days for the skin to completely heal.
Does it hurt when it’s applied?
A compound of the strongest topical cream is used. You can expect some soreness for an hour or 2, longer for lips. Eyelids and lips can remain swollen for 1 to 3 days. Cold compresses and aftercare products keep this at a minimum.
Does Permanent Make-Up last forever?
It is long lasting and slowly fades over time but it is not forever. We are placing pigment into the dermal layer of skin and the law requires us to call it Permanent. Your bodies chemistry, medication and sun exposure all contribute to the longevity.
What will my Make-up look like?
The first week will appear more dramatic until the healing is complete, you are left with what’s under the skin so it’s is more suttle than the day of your procedure. As you body continues to heal the color appears to seem faded and then blooms again to see the final result after 4 to 6 weeks.
Can I wear make-up after the procedure?
You will go home with the correct aftercare topicals. After 5 days you can continue with traditional make-up. It’s important during the healing time to be free from bacteria.
Are there any safety issues?
Everything used is disposable and therefore used only 1 time. Your safety and comfort are of highest priority.
